NOTE: Pygmy goats are a small, hardy breed of domestic goats originating from West Africa. Known for their friendly and playful nature, pygmy goats are popular as pets, in petting zoos, and for small-scale dairy production. They are compact, with adult males weighing between 50-70 pounds and females between 40-60 pounds. Pygmy goats are easy to handle, adaptable to various climates, and require relatively low maintenance, making them ideal for small farms and hobbyists.
